How to incorporate and open an Offshore bank account:

Step 1: Incorporating an IBC, Corporation or Foundation

The process for incorporation is a rather simple one. We obtain some basic information to begin the process, such as:

  1. Beneficiarys/Owner/Directors full name and date of birth
  2. Address
  3. Phone/Fax/Email
  4. Requested names for corporation and/or foundation
  5. Good quality passport or government ID scan

We submit your information to the direct registrar for the country of the IBC such as Belize, Panama, BVI, UK, Seychelles. We then normally receive the IBC/corporation scanned Certificate of Incorporation within 1-5 business days and then the official package with the complete incorporation documents are couriered with the appropriate bank application to your home.

Step 2: Opening an Offshore Corporate bank account with the IBC

The bank opening process is in two steps and can be a little different for each depending on the bank. We have noted when a particular bank does not need one of the items.

I. Information for bank application which we obtain at the time of incorporation

  1. Business address & phone
  2. Business type (not needed for North Cyprus)
  3. URL if any (not needed for North Cyprus)
  4. Anticipated annual revenue (not needed for North Cyprus)
  5. Business profession if not self-employed

II. Along with the IBC/incorporation and/or foundation documents we send you the bank application with your account number and the above information for you to sign and submit with the following documents:

  1. Notarized passport or government ID copy
  2. Original utility bill to confirm your address (not needed with North Cyprus)
  3. Personal bank reference letter or professonal reference letter (1) of either (not needed for North Cyprus and Ireland)
  4. Original or notarized copy of the corporation documents
  5. Signed bank application

Once the bank receives these documents directly from you they, normally open the account in a week (Irish bank can take up to 6 weeks to activate online banking) or so provided they do not require additional information. After you make an initial deposit of around $ 500 USD or Euros you can order the debit cards.
